Oladji (Pl., Russian Оладьи singular:
Oladji (Pl., Russian Оладьи singular: оладья = pancakes) are a traditional egg dish of Russian cuisine made from wheat or buckwheat flour, water or milk and eggs. The thick dough is fried in butter or frying fat (oil) in small portions such as pancakes and usually eaten with sweet side dishes such as jam, honey, sweetened condensed milk, but also with smetana (sour cream or sour cream).
