Mahatma Gandhi's Death - The Sathya Sai Connection | Martyrs Day

It is said that the manner in which a person dies indicates the manner in which a person has lived. This being the case, I always wondered at the 'tragic' and 'unfortunate' deaths of good people and godly people. How could such wonderful lives end in such terrible fashion? Foremost among such episodes is the death of Mahatma Gandhi on the 30th of January 1948.

I got my answer from a relatively unknown incident of what Sri Sathya Sai Baba, my Swami, did on that very same day. I realised that there is more than what meets one's eye in deaths and that goodness never goes unrewarded.
