How To Paint Simple, Beautiful Watercolour Hollyhocks, loose watercolor flower tutorial Floral Demo

Patreon: loisdavidsonart  https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/OwlsAndF...  I'm continuing to try to learn how to paint loose flowers, and today I'm painting some beautiful old fashioned Hollyhocks using just 3 colours, all Cotman tube paints in Gamboge hue, Lemon yellow and Ultramarine blue. But Hollyhocks come in all sorts of beautiful colours, so use any you like!
I use various brushes, see video, but use whichever brushes you are most comfortable with. My paper is 100% cotton Saunders Waterford, cold pressed, 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm. Thanks for watching, and happy painting!
