Why everyone is moving to
Why everyone is moving to West Virginia? That is a good question. It isn't just cheap real estate anymore.
A few years ago if someone said they were thinking about moving to West Virginia you’d probably have assumed they had fractured their skull playing frogger in real life. For the longest time, WV was the go-to state when needing an example of extreme poverty and widespread addiction. They still have those but not nearly as bad as they have in the past
That is how WV is to a lot of people because they only look at the state on the surface. They go off info they get from 3-minute clips on the news or from some jackass in Oregon that calls them HillBillies. Most people haven’t visited and it's not a very populous state so not a lot of people are from WV. I made a video about WV and got an email from a local radio station and they basically wanted me to come visit. So, I did. And now I love the state. The people at WTSQ in Charleston showed me they aren’t hillbillies. At least not in the cities.
In the last few years, people have started to warm up to West Virginia, and today we are looking at the 10 reasons more people are moving to West Virginia than leaving.
