Bidford - Stratford upon Avon Narrowboat Adventure | River Avon | Vlog 33

Join us this week as we continue our longest adventure to date with a rather eventful and nail-biting cruise!

We set off from Bidford and continue upstream on the River Avon towards the historic town of Stratford upon Avon in our narrowboat home.

But before we set off a quick stop at the village cafe for breakfast is an absolute must! then we top up with drinking water, check the weed hatch and we're off.

We have quite a windy cruise upstream, navigating a few locks as we go. Puravida got caught on the side of Bidford grange lock which could potentially lead to a capsize and sinking!! But we both noticed almost immediately and took action.

Luddington is another violent lock, our poor narrowboat was getting bumped about.. But eventually we made it to the historic town of Stratford upon Avon, where apparently they charge for moorings! So we moved onto the Basin where it is free.
