Bonds: Basic Features

In this video, I explain the basic features of (most) bonds, such as its coupon rate, face value, and time to maturity. After watching this video, you will understand why corporations (and often governemnts) issue bonds and, most importantly, how can you determine the cash flows you can expect to get from holding a bond.

Students will find this video useful in understanding Chapter 8 of "Corporate Finance" (13th Edition) by Ross, Westerfield, Jaffe and Jordan.
