If your hard drive or
If your hard drive or a computer is beeping, it may have heads stuck on a platter. Just take it apart and move heads off the platter. Drive will work again and you can recover your precious stuff from it FOR FREE! Carefully turn the Disk platters in the normal spin direction and move heads carefully out and into park position. No clean room necessary, no special tools.

As per some of your questions: the screwdriver I use is a TORX pick one with several blades, one will fit. I don't remember exact size. Go to the Home Depot and get the tool you see me use.
