Nevada seniors are targets of scams and fraud hitting their bank accounts, personal information, and identities.
“I fell prey to one on my computer," said Terri Porter, Clark County senior. "They said we’re billing your account for the renewal. I thought I did business with this company. I called. I almost lost $3,000”
According to the latest census data, about 17% of Nevadans are 65 years and older. That equates to hundreds of thousands of seniors living in Clark County.
"Be very careful on the computer on the internet you know I get a lot of spam emails I just delete those," said Steve Handelman, retired Clark County resident.
