Do FAULTY Discs still work on Xbox One Backward Compatibility?

Hi, this video shows a damaged Xbox game disc working on a Xbox One when using Backward Compatibility. The disc does not work on the original Xbox console but it works on the newer console because the game is stored on the hard drive. So if you have damaged Xbox and Xbox 360 games then it might be worth holding onto them as if they are released on backward compatibility then you might still be able to use them.
