The Origin of Christianity in India is traced to St Thomas Didymas, the Apostle. He first preached Gospel in Parthia and then in North Western India and came by sea to Malabar in the year 52 AD. After establishing 8 major communities and one minor community in the western coast, he moved to the Eastern Coast of India and founded a community at Mylapore, Chennai. He preached in this region for 14 years and on 3rd July 72 AD martyred at at a hillock, which is currently called St Thomas Mount. This film gives a detailed mission of St Thomas in India, except the Manal Madha Church. This documentary is based on the following research oriented books
