This is the longplay of The Legend of Zelda, an action/adventure/rpg game for Famicom Disk System and then for the NES, developed and published by Nintendo and designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. It was released for FDS in 1986 in Japan and for NES in 1987 in the United States and Europe. The game is set in the fantasy world of Hyrule, where the protagonist Link (an elf boy), who aims to collect the eight fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom in order to rescue Princess Zelda from the antagonist, Ganon. During the game, Link must travel through the world of Hyrule, collecting items, defeating enemies and collecting parts of the Triforce, as well as discovering secrets and facing dungeons. The Legend of Zelda is also known to have been the first video game cartridge to have an internal battery for the player to save their progress in the game. The game has a very simple gameplay, but it requires some agility and patience, since unfortunately in this version it is not possible to walk diagonally. Gathering rupees is essential for purchasing items (in this version you get rupees just by defeating enemies or in a minigame). If Link is at full health, he can fire lightning bolts from the sword. Items such as arrows and bombs are also part of your inventory. The game was a huge commercial success in its day, starting the Zelda franchise, which is one of Nintendo's biggest hits. The video was made collecting all the items and in both modes (Normal and Second Quest, the latter with a much higher level of difficulty and with items in different locations).
