Animal Humane Society Ends Free Feral Cat Fixing

For the last 10 years, the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley fixed feral cats brought in by the trap-neuter-return community for free. Budget pressures has forced the Animal Humane Society to up those costs to $75. "They're doing really good work and that work is important,” said Janelle Dixon, CEO of AHS. “It can't be solely funded by the Animal Humane Society."
