First Drive: The Niro has grown up for 2023 and Kia decided to bring as much electrification as you want. This plug-in hybrid Niro competes with the Toyota RAV4 Prime, Hyundai Tucson PHEV and Ford Escape PHEV. On the outside you will discover a unique front fascia, 18in wheels, and gloss black trim. On the inside there is the same interior layout as the EV6. Under the hood is a 1.6L inline-4 paired with an electric motor to produce 180HP & is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
