~Hop~ along as we take a look at what is coming to Walt Disney World this year! With a new roller coaster, a new resort and an assortment of new and returning entertainment, there is a lot to be excited for.
Let’s start with the entertainment … Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade is scheduled to return to the Magic Kingdom March 9. Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire, the Cinderella Castle stage show, will return Feb. 25 with a new opening and finale. Also at Magic Kingdom, a new cavalcade, called the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, will make an appearance Feb. 11. Over at EPCOT, a reimagined version of "Finding Nemo: The Musical," will return this year. Last, but certainly not least, we are excited to learn that Fantasmic! will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year! When this incredible spectacular show returns, there will be an all-new sequence. Judging by the new artwork, we can expect to see “Aladdin,” “Moana” and “Frozen” characters added to this performance!
Walt Disney World opens a new hotel experience this year that is truly out of this world! Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opens March 1, 2022. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is scheduled to open this summer at EPCOT. Designed to be one of the world's longest enclosed roller coasters, the ride will include a new, innovative ride system. It will be a storytelling coaster that rotates 360 degrees so you can focus on the action, and will include the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster.
