Coherent | Pulsed Laser Deposition - From Lab to Fab

In Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) excimer laser pulses evaporate a solid target without changing its chemical composition. A dense and highly oriented plasma plume transfers the target atoms to a nearby substrate where the desired thin film grows. High-temperature superconducting films, 5G piezo acoustic layers, transparent electrodes, and more functional films on tapes, wafers, or panels are obtained with unprecedented quality using largely scalable UV power of the world’s best excimer lasers.
