An Angle shows up and says she is going to be the mother of a King. She could have made a bargain, grasped, with the angel. "Ok, but I want a palace, servants, and a nice castle to live in with my prince Joseph. And a nice retirement plan" Should could have grasped, but she opened her heart and said "Let it be done to me according to thy word."When we grasp we loose the gift, and rob the giver the joy of giving. When we come with empty hands as Mary did before God, we say we trust, and we receive more than we would have asked for. We can never lose with God when we come before Him with empty hands.
