Pithla recipe is the most famous & loved recipe in Maharashtra.
It is prepared in every house of Marathi people & its there traditional Maharashtrian recipe.
Pithla / Pitla recipe is prepared using Besan / Gram flour or Kulid / Horse Gram flour. But Besan flour is commonly used. The Besan Curry is given sizzling tadka which makes it delicious & very tasty to enjoy.
Monsoon is the best season when we can enjoy this besan curry. This Pithla recipe tastes best along with the bhakar(roti).

Note:
* The consistency of Pithla should be kept thick when we want to
enjoy it with Bhakar / Roti & little thin when we want to enjoy it
with rice.
* Cook the Pithla Curry on low flame to get the best texture & to avoid burning.

Ingredients:

5 - Big Green Chillies
7 - Garlic Cloves & 2 - Crushed Galic cloves
1 cup - Besan / Gram flour
1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp - Asafoetida / Hing
1/2 tsp - Cumin / Jeera seeds
1/2 tsp - Turmeric / Haldi powder
2 tsp - Salt
Few Curry leaves
1 - Onion (Medium size)
Cooking Oil
