Last weekend, I stretched the
Last weekend, I stretched the legs on the Super Trofeo race car and took it out to The Vault of Scottsdale’s cars and coffee event. The owner, Ron Evans, worked with Fast Lane Drive to put on a Toy Drive event in collecting gifts to hand out to less fortunate kids during the holiday season. Lots of supercars and exotics showed up including Porsche Sally Special, a real ‘60s Shelby GT350, and Porsche 934 race cars. Afterwards, we cruised up to Bartlett Lake with the Fast Lane Drive group, had lunch at Elements at the Sanctuary Resort and back to my house for an afterparty.
It is not as fun as it sounds to drive a race car on the street. The suspension is super stiff and the clutch is not made for stop and go traffic and stop lights. The gearbox takes a while to get warm up, etc. But, fun to take to events and hang with friends.
