On Friday, June 3, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Chief Mark Saunders and representatives of some of the police services which provided valuable assistance to the TPS will hold a press conference regarding 'Project Sizzle'.
On Thursday, June 2, 2016, in the early morning hours, the Toronto Police Service, led by the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force, executed 42 search warrants simultaneously across the Greater Toronto Area.
Several search warrants were also executed in Montreal with the assistance of the Montreal Police Service.
There have been more than 50 arrests to date, including those from this morning combined with other arrests, prior to today.
The arrests and search warrants were executed with the cooperation and assistance of the tactical teams from 10 Ontario police services.
