US Plan to Rush Abrams to Ukraine? Refurbished Older M1A1 Variants Instead of The Newer M1A2

The US is accelerating its delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine, by sending a refurbished older model of the tank. Pentagon officials said the M1A1 also will be easier for Ukrainian forces to learn to use and maintain as they fight the invading Russian forces.  The original US plan was to send Ukraine 31 of the newer M1A2 Abrams.
