EMBRACING MY FEMININITY 💕

Femininity: qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of women 🩷 to be honest femininity has always confused me. What on earth does this definition mean?? women can be strong, brave, gentle, kindle, fearless, elegant and so much more so what qualities or attiributes describe all women?? as I get older I find myself embracing “girly” things more, where as my entire life I’ve fought being anything BUT “girly”. Looking back I think I’ve subconsciously associated frilly dresses with being dimwitted & unsuccessful. While I’ve viewed more masculine clothes with intelligence and success. Which truly breaks my heart that I thought this way, but I’m being honest with you on how society has impacted my perception. I now know you can wear a pink, floral twirly dress AND be wise & successful. At the end of the day, I’m most comfortable with my hair in a ponytail and jeans and t shirt and that’s ok, femininity is what you make it. But I will be adding more “girly” pieces to my wardrobe soon.
