It is estimated that 1
It is estimated that 1 out of every 8 bird species is currently threatened. In fact, 40% of all bird species are declining. In most cases, this is directly or indirectly due to human activity.
Extinction is a real phenomenon and it is forever. There is no return once it happens. We have been as of yet unable to bring back any extinct species.
This video is a celebration of the beauty that we have lost, songs that we'll never hear again. It is also a reminder of what's at risk, a wake-up call and a call to mobilize ourselves for the planet.
There are many ways to help. This channel has many examples of things that you can do to reduce your carbon footprint and understand the science behind our interactions with the environment.
