Amritpal Singh To Be Flown From Assam Jail To Lok Sabha Speaker’s Chamber For Oath Taking Ceremony
'Waris Punjab De' chief Amritpal to take oath as MP on July 5. Amritpal Singh won the Lok Sabha election from Khadoor Sahib parliamentary constituency, Punjab. Amritpal is currently lodged in Assam’s high-security Dibrugarh Jail. He has been granted conditional custody parole for up to or less than 4 days starting July 5. Faridkot MP Sarabjit Singh announced that Amritpal Singh will be sworn in as an MP on July 5 after meeting Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Amritpal, a pro-Khalistan leader, won the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate from Khadoor Sahib constituency by 1,97,120 votes.
