MotorPower Care DPF Foam Cleaner.
In this video, we will show you how to effectively use DPF foam cleaner to maintain your diesel particulate filter and keep your vehicle running smoothly.
Step 1: The first step is to pull the temperature sensor off of the diesel particulate filter. This is typically located near the exhaust system and may require some tools to remove it.
Step 2: Once the sensor is removed, you can insert the MotorPower Care DPF foam cleaner nozzle into the filter. Make sure it's securely in place.
Step 3: Spray the foam by moving the nozzle left and right, up and down. This will ensure that the cleaner is distributed throughout the entire filter.
Step 4: After spraying all of the can, pull the nozzle off of the filter.
Step 5: Reinstall the temperature sensor back in its original location.
Step 6: We recommend using our DPF purge by adding it to the diesel tank. This will help to further clean and maintain the diesel particulate filter.
Step 7: Once the DPF foam cleaner and purge have been added, start the vehicle. It's best to perform a 40-minute drive on open roads or start a regeneration by shop scanner. This will help to activate the cleaner and purge and ensure that they are doing their job effectively.
