Hari Om!

Swāmī Aparājitānanda jī, analysing how Yajña Bhāva blesses us at all levels and gifts us bigger vision, explains some beautiful laws of nature and of life.

• Our welfare is taken care of if we keep bigger welfare in sight.
• Cosmic forces come together to make our wish come true when we work in tune with cosmos with Yajña Bhāva and serve to evolve the Self.
• God is always with and behind us.
• All problems are self-created and Karma Yoga is the way to come out.

Examples of Yajña Bhāva: Organisations, companies, sports, politics, balloon story, celestial feast story, General Kariappā, Modī jī and Gāndhījī.

Verse 12: "Devatā" is explained in detail. Selfish people are called thieves by Lord.

Verse 13: "Santa" defined and how they become free from impurities and attain the Highest is discussed. "Agham" is punished with bondage (rebirth).

Verses 14 & 15: Lord mentions cosmic will in motion. Swāmījī beautifully simplifies it stating that only Yajña Bhāva is in our control (Eg. Coimbatore school) and another angle is presented, viz. lower beings, even inert things helplessly sacrifice for higher beings, but human beings have choice. Therefore, right teaching is very much essential and our functioning in tune with cosmos is also needed. Gurudev's definitions of "rain" and "food" are beautifully explained. The message is: Gateway to God is through Yajña-karma. Therefore, Lord says that Arjuna's Yajña-karma is to fight for Dharma.

Verse 16: That "Aghāyus" live in vain is minutely explained.

Verses 17 & 18: Exceptions of Jīvanmuktas, who are beyond laws and responsibilities and have total freedom from even scriptures, are explained with depth with respect to Ātmā, "Truptaha", "Santushtaha" and "Rati".

Verse 19: Lord says Arjuna is still not at the Highest State.  So, Yajña-karma is a must for him.

Verse 20: Lord gives example of Janaka, etc.

(Tomorrow - Reasons why even Enlightened ones should do Yajña-karma.)

(Bhagavad Gītā, Chp 3: Talk 4 of 7 - Verses 12 to 20)
