TNO Custom Super Event: Dengist Alliance

Following the Sphere's defeat in the Great Asian War, the National Protection Army restored civilian rule and elected Sun Fo as the president. Deng Xiaoping, a former member of the leftist collabs, defected during the war and became the de facto head of the opposition. With the Xunzheng period ending in mid 70, Deng was elected as the next president and began to reform his nation based on Albert Speer's reforms.

On the other side of the globe, Speer and his loyalists crushed Gang of Four's plot to seize power, thus solidifying his rule. Speer now looks to the East, as Germany and China had built up friendly relations during the GAW. German volunteers and supplies helped secure numerous victories, and German companies aided in the reconstruction of China after the war. It did not take long for the Germans to convince China in joining the Pakt as an observer. After 2 years as an observer of the Pakt, China formally obtained membership in 1978.
