This video is dedicated to the Cathars - kind people, children of the Light, who gave their lives for the sake of faith and freedom many centuries ago.
Our group visited Occitania for several years in a row in order to research and understand the true events of those ancient times.
We wish that the good name of the Cathars would be restored, their life and deed would become known to everyone, so that truth would be revealed to the world.
March 16 is the day of remembrance of the Good People of Occitania ...
On March 16, 1244, the defenders of Montsegur and the perfect Cathars (more than 200 people in total), who did not renounce their religious beliefs, were burned at the stake at the foot of the mountain. Now this place is called "Prat dels Cremats", or the Field of the Burnt.
"... After 700 years, the laurel will bloom again ..." - these words were said by Guillaume Belibast - the last perfect Cathar in 1321.
"The greatness of Montsegur ... The mystery of the forests at her feet ... The castle is the guardian of innocent souls ... Let the land of the Occitanians be reborn. Let the Cathar Anthem sound more and more, calling for awakening ... And at that moment the laurel will bloom." Elena Bogomaz
