It's easy to use handheld radio to talk over short distances, but what about hundreds or thousands of miles? Are the HF radio bands only for random contacts with ham hobbyists, or can we call specific people directly? We team up with TheTechPrepper and KM4ACK for a simulated emergency contact based on a pre-made comms plan, and test the limits of our skill and equipment.
