This is a special video! Not only does it show the change in Cody's voice from 2010-2019 (not a complete decade due to lack of interviews from 2009), but it is also Cody's story in his own words. If you pay attention to what he is saying in each clip, you will notice that it describes his journey with music.
In 2010 and 2011, he happily discusses being signed with Atlantic Records. In 2012, I feel like he is hinting at the desire to make his own music without straightforwardly saying it. In 2013, while he is promoting his music, again, I feel like you can tell he's unhappy with Atlantic. In 2014, he becomes independent and seems happier. In 2015 and 2016, he seems to be rediscovering himself. In 2017, he talks about starting a band, and you can tell he feels good about it. In 2018, he talks about working on his guitar skills like he did in the 2012 clip. And finally in 2019, he seems like he is genuinely happy with his music and life in general.
