Whole flaxseed is much more difficult to digest than ground flaxseed. This is partly due to your intestines' inability to break down the tough outer shell of whole seeds.

Having said that, you can still purchase whole flaxseed, grind it in a coffee grinder, and store the ground flaxseed in an airtight container for future use.


⭐️ How much Flax Seeds to eat:
Many of the health benefits could be acquired by eating just one tablespoon (7 grams) of ground flaxseed per day.
