My girlfriend got a 98
My girlfriend got a 98 Volvo S70 GLT a while back and, after a few months, we started having issues with the heater. We weren't getting much, if any, heat, and quickly started getting a sweet smelling green fog filling the cab any time we turned it on.
We still have my car, and we really only need one car, so we put off fixing it as long as we could.
A few weeks ago, we ordered the part from a store on eBay, and after a catastrophe with shipping, finally got the new heater core about 3 weeks later.
This is MY experience with replacing the heater core in the S70.
Also, it should be noted that I've NEVER replaced a heater core. I watch some videos on YouTube and went for it. Even with my lack of experience, it only took me about an hour.
Oh. And by taking on the task myself, I saved myself nearly $500 in shop fees.
Also, the camera is a little shaky since I recorded the whole thing on my HTC One M8.
