Export or Import Browsing History from Chrome/Microsoft Edge/Firefox/Brave on Windows (2023)

Here's how to Export or Import Browsing History from Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge,  Mozilla Firefox, Brave Browser on Windows.

i. You can export or import your browsing history from Google Chrome.

*To export your browsing history:*

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select *More tools* - **Export browsing data**.
4. Select the items you want to export, such as **Browsing history**, **Bookmarks**, **Passwords**, **Autofill**, **Extensions**, and **Themes**.
5. Click **Export**.

*To import your browsing history:*

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select *More tools* - **Import and backup**.
4. Click **Import from another browser**.
5. Click *Choose file* and select the file you exported your browsing history to.
6. Click **Import**.

Your browsing history will be imported into Google Chrome.

Here are some additional notes:

* You can only export your browsing history from the computer where you created it.
* You can only import your browsing history into a computer that is running the same version of Google Chrome.
* If you have a Google account, you can also export and import your browsing history to and from your Google account. To do this, sign in to your Google account in Google Chrome and then click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window. Select *More tools* - *Sync and Google services* - *Manage sync**. Under **Browsing history**, select **Export browsing history* or **Import browsing history**.

ii. here are the steps on how to export or import browsing history from Microsoft Edge:

*To export browsing history:*

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select **Settings**.
4. Scroll down and select **Privacy, search, and services**.
5. Under **Browsing history**, click **Manage browsing history**.
6. Click **Export browsing history**.
7. Select the file format you want to export your browsing history to and click **Export**.

Your browsing history will be exported to a file. You can then save this file to your computer or share it with others.

*To import browsing history:*

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select **Settings**.
4. Scroll down and select **Privacy, search, and services**.
5. Under **Browsing history**, click **Manage browsing history**.
6. Click **Import browsing history**.
7. Click *Choose file* and select the file that contains your exported browsing history.
8. Click **Import**.

Your browsing history will be imported into Microsoft Edge.

Here are some additional notes:

* You can only export your browsing history from the computer where you created it.
* You can only import your browsing history into a computer that is running the same version of Microsoft Edge.
* If you have a Microsoft account, you can also export and import your browsing history to and from your Microsoft account. To do this, sign in to your Microsoft account in Microsoft Edge and then click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window. Select *Settings* - *Profile* - *Sync**. Under **Browsing history**, select **Export browsing history* or **Import browsing history**.

*To export browsing history:*

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select *History* - **Show All History**.
4. Click on the *Library* button in the toolbar.
5. Select **Import and Backup**.
6. Click on **Export**.
7. Select the items you want to export, such as **Browsing history**, **Bookmarks**, **Passwords**, **Autofill**, **Extensions**, and **Themes**.
8. Click **Export**.

Your browsing history will be exported to a file. You can then save this file to your computer or share it with others.

*To import browsing history:*

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select *History* - **Show All History**.
4. Click on the *Library* button in the toolbar.
5. Select **Import and Backup**.
6. Click on **Import**.
7. Click *Choose File* and select the file that contains your exported browsing history.
8. Click **Import**.

Your browsing history will be imported into Firefox.
