Can the Yamaha R3 Handle the Highway?

I took the R3 on the highway for the first time today.
It was also the first time ever being on the highway on a Motorcycle. It was nerve racking at first. You feel so exposed but you quickly get over it.
I was really surprised how capable the bike was on the highway.
Has plenty of passing power in 6th gear.
I didn't get thrown around by the wind. I didn't really push each gear for this ride.
So, I did a lot of short shifting to keep RPM's somewhat lower.
Next time, I'll try to give it a lot more go. - Stealth
