Hello 2020!
I’d like to share a new remix with you that I made for my favourite Hungarian electronic music duo, the magnificent Analog Balaton.
I wanted this one to sound like the music I was listening to as a teen in 2010 - the year when I started making music. Many things happened to me over the last decade. The more my music developed, the more ears it sneaked into all around the world. My songs took me to places that I could never afford to travel to. I remember in 2010 before pop music’s huge influence, the ‘dutch house’ hype, I came across ‘electro house’; a genre that was popular among teens mainly because of the silly ‘tektonik’ dance that took over at the time. These tracks weren’t a lot different, they were made with cheap, cheesy synths and boring beats. Despite how bad it was, I immediately fell in love with it. I was searching for these tracks all day every day and sending them to my friends saying “This is awesome!” (Still cringing hard.) I was dreaming about making tunes like them.
Great. Now I can. :D So I’m dedicating this one to the 2010 Ritchie saying: “There you go, fool! You wanted that.”
Anyways, if You, dear listener, don’t like this kind of commercial sound, there’s another instrumental version enclosed that I made with tribal drums.
