Where do locals eat for breakfast? Are mall food courts any good? Is the tallest building in Bangkok worth visiting? What does Asiatique Riverfront look like at night? Come along with us and find out!

Check out part one first if you haven’t already: indoor night market, luxury spa, mega...

We’re in Thailand for two weeks, and we’re excited to take you with us to Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. In this video, we’ll be showing you around Bangkok and hitting up these places (listed in order of appearance in the video):

0:00 Intro

0:58 Eating breakfast like the locals at Sukhumvit Soi 10/12: Really lovely and lively neighborhood with lots of food options open early, ranging from rice boxes with pad kra pao, bbq skewers, to noodle bars and sit down restaurants that serve braised pork and Chinese-Thai fusion dishes.

4:55 Siam Discovery: Stylish, multilevel retail complex with trendy boutiques & a food court with eclectic offerings. Feels more hipster/artsy than the other Siam malls. Opens at 10am.

8:18 Siam Paragon + its food court: One of the most popular shopping malls in Bangkok which houses a host of international high-end fashion brands, Southeast Asia’s largest aquarium, a 16-screen Cineplex, and a comprehensive selection of world cuisine.

15:14 Cha Tra Mue: Famous, signature thai tea brand with over 75 years of history. Protip: ask for less sweet if you order their drinks. Even 70% sweetness tasted too sweet to me.

16:14 The Aura Nail Salon: Located conveniently right across the street from Siam Paragon mall. I believe it was 400 baht per person for either a simple gel manicure or pedicure. https://www.instagram.com/the.aura.na...

16:49 CentralwOrld: It’s the ninth largest shopping complex in the world. It has luxury brands and more affordable brands, home goods, stationary stores, electronics, clothing, you name it – they probably have it. You can spend the whole day here, honestly.

20:06 King Power Mahanakhon Tower: Thailand’s new architectural landmark, located in the heart of Bangkok’s central business district at Chong Nonsi BTS station. You’ll get amazing views of the city at the SkyWalk--a state-of-the art observation deck boasting the city’s most epic views at 314 meters. Book your tickets ahead of time!! I recommend getting the evening entry time slot. https://kingpowermahanakhon.co.th/pla...

22:38 Asiatique Riverfront: An open-air mall that offers a dynamic combo of shopping, dining, sightseeing, and events—with scenic river views to boot. It’s a pretty romantic place, although it’s pretty pricey because it’s a tourist attraction. I recommend getting souvenirs from the malls or less touristy areas instead. Also, don’t pay for the haunted house or whatever ride they repurpose it for 🥲

25:37 Leaving for Phuket
