Can’t end a trip to
Can’t end a trip to Japan without visiting Tokyo. We had our bellies filled, wallets emptied and hearts filled with joy in this bustling city.
We thought we had done everything there’s to do in Tokyo on our first trip - but boy were we wrong. This time round we had a stronger focus on thrifting, visiting a variety of BOOKOFFs, 2nd Streets and curated vintage designer stores. Sean also picked up two Japanese style knives!
We had our fill at some new restaurants, including our first time trying Omakase (Manten Sushi), visiting Tokyo’s Starbucks Roastery, and trying some world famous flat udon noodles (Godaime Hanayama). But of course we returned to some old favourites, like Gyukatsu Ichi Ni San and Momo Paradise.
This may be the end of our 2023 Japan adventure, but we will definitely be coming back (north Japan 👀).
