So called FBA (Foundational Black Americans) meaning ABORIGINAL, INDIGENOUS and FOUNDATIONAL NEGROS.
An Italian explorer, Giovanni da Verrazzano, wrote a description in 1524 of the "Carolina
Indians" he encountered. He wrote, "The complexion of the Carolina Indians is black, not much different from that of the Ethiopians.
In 17th-century colonial America, the term Negro had been also, according to one historian, used to describe Native Americans.
The Ancient Romans had two words for black: ater was a flat, dull black, while niger was a brilliant, saturated black. Ater has vanished from the vocabulary, but niger was the source of the country name Nigeria and the English word Negro.
The word "Shine" was a term for a Black person (Negro). The word black comes from Old English blæc meaning to shine.
