The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti,
The Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti, led by Hardik Patel took to the streets on Tuesday to demand their share in the Other Backward Classes reservation in Ahmedabad.
A violent clash broke out between the protestors and the police officials after which the protestors smashed bus windows and pelted stones.
Earlier in the day, Convener of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti Hardik Patel had addressed a rally which was attended by about nine lakh people. The Patidars have been asking reservation within 27 per cent OBC quota.
