0) What is the difference between PSNLover and PSN fucker?
PSN Lover is the latest release, which allows you to access the PSN easier and fixes errors that PSN fucker has.
1) What firmware should I have for this?
5.00 m33-6 or 5.50 Gen-A/B/C/D/wtvr. Your PSP can either be slim or phat, as long as it has one of those firmwares.
2) Why would I need this?
Sony blocked the PSN from hacked PSPs, but hackers don't quit. Now thanks to psnlover, if you want to access the PSN or play some games online that require the PSN, this will be back on track
3) I did everything but it still doesn't work!
Yeah.. it's cause you did something wrong. Most common mistakes
- Typing wrong the name in the vsh and game file
- Not enabling the plugin
- Your PSP doesn't have one of the latest firmwares
If you're 100% sure you did everything right, followed the video perfectly and it still doesn't work, go to FAQ4
4) Is there something else I can do if this didn't work and I'm 110% sure I did everything correctly?
Yes, do both this things... Turn off your PSP completely, go to your recovery menu again, go to "Configuration" and we'll change two settings. One, "Fake Region" set it to "Debug Type 1" and "M33 Update" set it to "Disable". Start again your PSP and see if it works
5) What if I don't have a game or vsh file, or not even a "seplugins" directory in my PSP?
Not to worry, you can create it all. First, in the root of your memory stick create a folder and name it "seplugins". Now for the text files, in your PC go to:
Start menu - All programs - Accessories - Notepad
There put the directory of the plugin (in this case of psnlover) and save the file as either "vsh" or "game" in notepad's default extension (which is ".txt"), in the newly created "seplugins" folder and you're good to go.
6) What's the number next to the directory we put in the vsh and game file?
That number means if the plugin is enabled (1) or disabled (0). Instead of going to your recovery menu and enabling the plugins you can just put a 1 after the directory and restart your PSP; I just showed just in case where you access the plugins from inside your PSP.
7) What da heck is vsh.txt and game.txt?
Those files tell the PSP what plugin is enabled for the XMB (vsh) and in-game (game). In the case of this plugin, we enable both so that you can access the PSN from the XMB by going to the Playstation Store, or if you want to play multipayer in a game that requires psn.
