Meshing Basics in COMSOL Multiphysics (5/8)

By default, the meshing sequence in the software uses the physics-controlled mesh option. This option creates a mesh that adapts to the physics selected and their configuration within the model. As the physics settings are modified, the mesh updates to comply with these changes. You can also utilize the user-controlled mesh sequence type to manually control the mesh sizing and element types within the model geometry.
