Hello and Welcome. Today we are going to be touring the beautiful home and greenhouse of Courtney Brewer. She and her husband James have lived here almost three years. Below I am going to be sharing some information and history behind their amazing greenhouse and home.
Courtney says, "My husband James and I live here with two pups and three rabbits. Nearly 3 years ago now my now husband and I were looking for wedding venues and struggling to find a place that felt "right" for us. We purchased some land and found all of these windows laying on the ground, covered in ants! I joked that we could build a greenhouse and just get married in our own backyard! Well, James took my comment seriously and the next day we were laying out the plans with sticks and strings to measure how big we could build it! This was 4 months before our wedding by the way! Most people are at cake tastings and spa appointments and we were laying concrete for a greenhouse! It's so special to us though and now we've had others want to use the space for their small weddings and events so we became Hickory Home and Greenhouse."
