BAAT is a story of an emotional &  shy  person who wishes to express love but is reluctant .There are sentiments but a fear to communicate dominates . The messages have to be conveyed and stories to be told and heard ! That is the real BAAT .

BAAT was written by M. Ali Tim in 1992 . He recorded its demo on a cassette and took it to The Milestones drummer  (late) Carl Miranada's birthday party .
Ziyyad and Candy were at the party with Carl and his family members . Ali Tim asked Ziyyad to listen to his BAAT demo and suddenly Candy also walked in the  room.  Together they listened to the song and Candy said . "i like it .im going to sing BAAT "
Ziyyad was amused at the flow of chords Ali Tim had put in the song . He asked Ali Tim  " how come so many chords ? You have never used that many chords in any other song . It sounds good but i shall add a few more "

Following week , Ziyyad started to program the drums , bass and  keyboards for BAAT .He created BAAT's  guitar solo and played the complete track to Candy for her scale/key . Even though the song was a little soft  and low for her scale yet she sung it beautifully, in the studio, and textured it with her harmonies .
