This place is located at Raghunathpur subdivision of Purulia district of the state West Bengal of INDIA. This place is ideal for one day picnic but if you are a Nature Lover you may spend nights staying in Youth Hostel, Patha Sathi and the cottages on the hill of JOYCHANDI PARJOTON KENDRA. Booking information is given in the video.
How to reach JOYCHANDI HILL :-
If you are driving from Kolkata then take NH2 (Durgapur Express Way) straight to Asansol and then take a diversion of another 47 KM's on NH419 to reach JOYCHANDI HILL. You can also reach JOYCHANDI HILL from Kolkata via Bankura town by Train. RUPASI BANGLA (from Howrah at 6 a.m), PURULIA EXP. (from Howrah at 4.40 p.m.) may be convenient for you. It will take more or less 5 and half hours to reach ADRA JUNCTION. Then take a hired vehicle to reach the hill. You may come to Asansol from Howrah by any morning train and from Asansol you will get so many local trains to reach JOYCHANDI STATION paying Train fare RS.10/- only.
