It's the start of a new year, and there is a new Doctor to take up the controls of the TARDIS...But this isn't the first time this has happened. In San Francisco, in the final hours of the year 1999, the Time Lord once again fights for his very existence against his arch-nemesis, the Master, as well as faces the changes and difficulties of regeneration. For a short time on-screen, Paul McGann was the Doctor.
