Why Study Intercultural Communication?

Understanding and improving intercultural communication skills is important to our development as effective communicators – and as effective human beings.  This mini-lecture discusses the six imperatives (or reasons) for enhancing intercultural skills – peace, demographic, economic, technological, self-awareness, and ethical.
