Diving in a submarine is akin to entering another world. When going through the process of selecting the best possible craft for this “space travel”, the relevant characteristics you need to take into account cannot be easily referenced to the selection process of yachts, aircraft, or anything else for that matter.

Sitting behind the controls of a C-Explorer submersible is among the most thrilling adventures anyone could imagine. Witnessing underwater life first hand with a C-Explorer submarine with its 360° panoramic view can only be described as “out of this world”.
You will have the complete freedom to explore dive sites that have never been visited by recreational or professional divers, or unmanned submersibles equipped with cameras. Thousands of unexplored wrecks, numerous species, and dazzlingly beautiful coral reefs lie waiting to be discovered.
C-Explorers utilize our proven Lithium-ion battery technology. U-Boat Worx was the first company to equip and certify its models with this advanced battery system. The majority of traditional submersible workshops are still applying outdated, inefficient lead-acid battery systems, which can develop explosive H2 gasses and require much more servicing compared with our safe, ecologically friendly and maintenance-free Lithium-ion batteries. Thanks to the abundant electrical capacity of our battery system, the C-Explorers carry six powerful thrusters that facilitate both easy maneuverability, and speed. They also provide sufficient power for an effective air-conditioning system that can be operated without restriction.
To experience the underwater world in the optimal way, one of U-Boat Worx’ design priorities has always been the clearest view. Our remarkably clear fully acrylic pressure hull provides an unobstructed view in every direction, unimpeded by ballast tanks, batteries and other components.
The C-Explorer Series features a revolutionary pressure hull design that integrates a single lifting point. Reducing the complexity of multi-point submersible recoveries, these submersibles have few limitations in virtually all conditions. The wireless MARLIN surface remote permits navigating the C-Explorer away from your support vessel at the touch of a button.
