European Helicopter Show is a
European Helicopter Show is a very special event for helicopter fans. This occasion was held in Hradec Králové Aiport, Czech Republic.
The host is Delta System Air, which is a big aviation company in Czech Republic.
They are working with helicopters and fixed wings too.
EHS 2014 visitors could see a lot of different helicopter types on the air and on the ground too, from air ambulance, Czech Air Force, SAR and some civil companies.
During the day people could see air rescue demonstrations, Medevac demonstrations, firefighter demo, formation flights and solo demo flights from the helicopters.
Yearly there are some helicopters from Czech Air Force, but nowadays they do not make demo flights, only static display.
This year there was a Mil Mi-8T and a PZL Mi-2 in the static line from Czech Air Force. At the end of the show the chopper were pulled out from the static line and made the engine start together. Mi-8 took off first and the Mi-2 followed her.
The Mil Mi-8 (NATO reporting name Hip) is a Soviet-designed medium twin-turbine Transport helicopter. The Mi-8 is among the world's most-produced helicopters used by over 50 countries.
The Mi-2 was produced exclusively in Poland, in the WSK "PZL-Świdnik" factory in Świdnik.
This aircraft's prototype was the Soviet designation V-2 from Mil helicopters, than the project was transferred to Poland in 1964.
NATO reporting name Hoplite, is a small, lightly armored turbine-powered transport helicopter that could also provide close air support when armed with 57 mm rockets and a 23 mm cannon, but it is used in civil air taxi, agricultural flight and air rescue.
If Mi-2 is quite heavy and the engines are not so powerfull, it is very manoeuvrable and beautifully flyable. Thats why this type won the Helicopter Demonstration Flight Championship repeatedly.
A European Helicopter Show egy nagyon különleges esemény a helikopteres repülés kedvelőinek. A rendezvény évről-évre megrendezésre kerül Hradec Královéban, Csehországban.
A rendezvény szervezője és házigazdája a Delta System air, azaz DSA.
Delta System Air egy légi mentéssel, légi taxival és pilótaoktatással foglalkozó helikopteres és repülős cég Csehországban.
A EHS 2014 látogatóinak nagyon sok izgalmas helikopteres programban lehetett részük, többek között helikopteres mentési demonstrációban, tűzoltó bemutatóban, kötelék repülésekben és egyéni demó repülésekben.
Évről évre látogatója és kiállítója a repülőnapnak a Cseh Légierő. Sajnos az utóbbi években már nem repültek bemutatót, de a statikus soron bárki megtekinthette gépeiket. Idén egy Mil Mi-8T és egy PZL Mi-2 helikopterrel érkeztek.
A Show végén kivontatták a két gépet az apronra, ahol megkezdték a hajtóműindítást. A Mi-8 távozott először, de a Mi-2 gyorsan követte.

A sikeres konstrukciónak tekinthető helikopter Ázsia és Európa szerte is eterjedt mind katonai, mindig civil felhasználási területeken. A civil életben mentőhelikopternek, könnyű szállítóhelikopternek és mezőgazdasági helikopternek is egyaránt alkalmazható.
Bár nagy tömege ellenére viszonylag gyenge hajtóművekkel rendelkezik, ügyes pilóta kezében nagyon jól manőverezhető és nagyon szépen repül. Ezek segítették abban, hogy a típus többször is megnyerje a Helikopteres Műrepülő Bajnokságot.
