Thumbs UP for Sparkly Geodes Grown From Home!
Hey guys! I love collecting minerals, especially geodes and thought it would be great if we could DIY our own! I was inspired by Geode Eggs that I saw from Martha Stewart. However, instead of using fragile and tiny egg shells, I wanted to make our own base for these geodes! Today, we are going to make and grow our own pretty and sparkly geodes using polymer clay as a base! It's a pretty easy DIY process that only involves a few ingredients and a few steps, and the result is so pretty!
Here are the materials I used:
Alum Powder(I had the best success with this brand): http://bit.ly/1LjjBkQ
Polymer Clay(Sculpy is the easiest to work with): http://bit.ly/1GQdhBB

Food Coloring(I don't recommend gel coloring, liquid is best): http://bit.ly/1JVvTCN
