I took my students from Villa Soleada on a field trip to the aquarium in Tela Marine, Honduras. We were surprised to find out that there is no entrance fee! Inside there are many types of fish, guides that explain everything, a merchandise store, a cafe, and a restaurant.

Tela Marine is doing everything possible to keep the aquarium alive and fight against ecological damage to save the corals and marine life of Honduras. You can support their cause by visiting and buying at the aquarium located on Carretera CA13 next to the Lancetilla Botanical Garden.
