Produced by A. Raghuram and co-written by Subha, the film features Ajith Kumar and Nayantara in the lead roles and Arya and Taapsee Pannu in supporting roles. While the score and soundtrack of the film were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the cinematography was handled by Om Prakash and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. Arrambam plot is about Ajith, an honest officer is on a mission to uncover the scam behind the fraudulent bullet vests supplied by a corrupt politician's company. Arya and Nayanthara help Ajith in his quest to expose the scam.
